| Description: Our goal is to improve the training skills of any handler with our enthusiasm and expertise in training Gundogs. We hold a weekly training morning every Sunday and an Advanced Gundog training session once a month at Stubbs Hall. The surrounding countryside lends itself well to training gundogs in a natural environment. This event is held within the beautiful open country grounds of Stubbs Hall Farm where various areas of natural cover are established with surrounding woodland and ponds. This is an excellent way to introduce your dog into the working field and provides a perfect environment for training any breed of gundog in a relaxed atmosphere. We cover from basic training to advance also cover beating and picking up training and advice. We have an on-site rabbit and pheasant pen. This can be used on training evenings or one to one basis. A controlled environment such a rabbit pen is a great asset to training as it allows the handler to introduce a dog to the hunting and flushing of game. Please call for more details. |
